Cancellations
Our time together is important. Unless there is an emergency, it is requested that you cancel your appointment 24 hours in advance or pay the missed appointment fee in full. Gift certificates may be forfeited for cancellations with less than 24 hours notice. Gift certificates will be forfeited for no shows. Please call to cancel appointments or change scheduling.

Massage therapy sessions canceled by D Best Massage (i.e., ill massage therapist) within 24 hours of appointment will be given a 20% discount on next visit.  This policy only applies to cancellations and is not valid when the client is offered a similar appointment with one of our other massage therapists.

Lateness
Please arrive 10 minutes prior to an appointment.
Your scheduled appointment time is your time; if you arrive late for your appointment, the time left will be used to its best advantage. Anything beyond 15 minutes will be considered a ‘no show’.

Payment is due when services are rendered. Prices do not include gratuity or tax. We accept cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, American Express & Discover. Please mention any discount offers when scheduling your appointment.

Gift Cards
Gift certificates are to be used toward the purchase of massage therapy services only. Gift certificates are non-refundable.

Your Session
Your therapist will determine how best to perform your therapeutic session. The use of equipment in a session– such as hot packs, face cradles or other items are at the discretion of the therapist. We do our best to meet each client’s needs and are willing to take directives in regards to preferences of pressure and areas that you would like to have avoided. All of our massage and bodywork sessions are therapeutically oriented and non-sexual.

You may dress however you wish, but if you would like to receive a massage following a workout, please shower before your massage. Your therapist will show you into the massage studio, go over your health history and goals for the massage session, and then leave the room to allow you to undress and get onto the table. You should feel free to remove as much or as little of your clothing as you wish. Your therapy will be more effective if you are fully undressed, including your underwear, but your comfort level is most important. We work with our clients fully draped, meaning that only the part of your body where we are working at that particular moment will be exposed.

Therapist Code of Ethics
Therapists at D best Massage abide by the Code of Ethics of the industry standards described by the American Massage Therapy Association.

Hygiene
Please come to your massage therapy appointment clean and inform your massage therapist of any breaks in the skin, and these areas will be avoided.

Massage and Bodywork on Minors
Therapists may provide massage and bodywork for minors under 18 with parental consent. Parents must call to schedule the session and we request a parental consent form to be signed and kept on file.

Noise Policy
We ask clients to not speak loudly and to turn off all cellular phones during their visit at D Best Massage to uphold a relaxing atmosphere.

We reserve the right to refuse potential clients for any reason.

We look forward to becoming a part of your health & happiness!
